Description: Located in interface between the two main mountain ranges of the island (Cumbre Nueva – Caldera de Taburiente to the north and Cumbre Vieja to the south).
This is one of the busiest recreational areas in the eastern part of the island. The surrounding vegetation is a mixture of replanted pine forest and monteverde. From the Environmental Information Point, in the recreation area facilities, there is a path.
Access: The access road is the one that goes past El Pilar Refuge, linking the LP-2 road (in the district of El Paso) with the district of San Isidro (in Breña Alta). From here, it is a 20-30 minute drive.
Facilities: Drinking water, showers, toilets, benches, park rangers’ house.
