La \u00ab\u00a0faya\u00a0\u00bb (Myrica faya) est un end\u00e9misme d\u00b4origine macaron\u00e9sique, qui appara\u00eet en g\u00e9n\u00e9ral \u00e0 La Palma associ\u00e9 \u00e0 un sol montagneux et humide. Cet arbre, qui donne son nom \u00e0 la zone r\u00e9cr\u00e9ative, appara\u00eet ici dans une zone de pin\u00e8de, o\u00f9 sont \u00e9galement communes les bruy\u00e8res.
