Otherwise, the path is clear with little height difference to be overcome. <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>ACCUMULATED ASCENDING LEVEL:<\/strong>\u00a0280 mt.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>ACCUMULATED DESCENDING LEVEL:<\/strong>\u00a0660 mt.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>ESTIMATED TIME OF GOING: <\/strong>\u00a02:45 hrs.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>ESTIMATED TIME COMING BACK:<\/strong>\u00a03:30 hrs.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>NATURE RESERVES WITHIN THE TRAIL:\u00a0<\/strong>Parque Natural de Las Nieves.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>RECOMMENDED TIME OF THE YEAR:\u00a0<\/strong>Any time of year, but avoid very rainy days. <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>GETTING TO THE TRAIL:\u00a0<\/strong>There is no public transport either at the start or at the finish of this path. The departure point can be reached by private car or taxi. Previously booked 4WD taxis go to Casa del Monte, or the other alternative is to walk down to Los Sauces via the PR LP 6 path <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>BASIC RECOMMENDATIONS: <\/strong>Habitual precautions common to hiking in general are listed below. At the risk of sounding obvious, here are some of the most important:<strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Check weather forecasts before setting off to hike.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Don\u00b4t go alone.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Tell someone your intended destination and expected time of arrival.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Carry a small rucksack with warm clothing, waterproofs, food and plenty of water.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Don\u00b4t forget such simple items as: sun hat, protective cream and sun glasses.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Carry a mobile phone with fully-charged battery, a map and, if possible, a compass. They will probably never be used but, when required, are of vital importance.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Wear suitable gear, especially footwear: trekking boots or similar are essential, trainers or pumps are to be avoided, habitual precautions common to hiking in general are listed below.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>REMARKS:\u00a0<\/strong>This solitary route demands a minimum taste for adventure. The departure point, Fuente de Ol\u00e9n lying on the main road, is relatively accessible. Casa del Monte, on the other hand, is an isolated location reached by a tortuous, 14km-long track providing the only alternative exit for those not wishing to walk another 2h 00min down to Los Sauces.
