Avoid rainy days.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>BASIC RECOMMENDATIONS: <\/strong>Habitual precautions common to hiking in general are listed below. At the risk of sounding obvious, here are some of the most important:<strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Check weather forecasts before setting off to hike.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Don\u00b4t go alone.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Tell someone your intended destination and expected time of arrival.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Carry a small rucksack with warm clothing, waterproofs, food and plenty of water.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Don\u00b4t forget such simple items as: sun hat, protective cream and sun glasses.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Carry a mobile phone with fully-charged battery, a map and, if possible, a compass. They will probably never be used but, when required, are of vital importance.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Wear suitable gear, especially footwear: trekking boots or similar are essential, trainers or pumps are to be avoided, habitual precautions common to hiking in general are listed below.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>REMARKS:\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/span>If the Lomo del Lance path (PR LP 2) is complicated and difficult, this one is even more so. Only recommended for very experienced walkers, suitably trained and not going alone. It is the most difficult route of the whole network of footpaths.
